LHV Bank Achieves Sunday Times Best Places to Work Listing for the Second Year in a Row

Monday 16th June 2025: London, UKLHV Bank has achieved a prestigious Sunday Times Best Places to Work, powered by WorkL, listing for the second year in a row.

This recognition came just one week after LHV Bank launched its market leading 3.25% AER interest-rate current account to UK consumers and underscored its commitment to the UK market that saw a 182% increase in deposits in FY24.

Since launching its UK operations in 2023, LHV Bank has moved with the kind of entrepreneurial energy that defines the company’s DNA — quickly rolling out new offerings like SME lending and personal current accounts while fostering a workplace built on purpose, creativity, and impact.

Erki Kilu, CEO of LHV Bank, said: “This recognition is a reflection of the people behind LHV Bank. From day one, we’ve built a culture rooted in entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and the courage to challenge the status quo.

We move fast, not just for the sake of speed, but because we believe in delivering meaningful impact to our customers and employees alike. Our teams are empowered to think boldly, act decisively, and shape the future of banking.

What makes this achievement even more special is that it’s driven by the voice of our people — their feedback, ideas, and relentless drive to make LHV not only a great place to bank, but a great place to build a career.

I’m incredibly proud of the journey we’re on together — and even more excited for what’s ahead.”

The key employee survey scores that helped LHV Bank to secure its listing included:

  • 88% for empowerment

  • 87% for instilling pride

  • 86% for job satisfaction

  • 86% for reward and recognition

  • 83% for information sharing

  • And 84% for wellbeing

In addition to a robust benefits package — including private healthcare, income protection, and life insurance — LHV Bank offers standout perks like global travel insurance, paid sabbaticals, time off for life milestones, and the innovative ‘Winter Office’, which brings colleagues together in sun-drenched locations for fresh collaboration and team connection.

These benefits, like everything at LHV Bank, are shaped directly by employee feedback and co-created to deliver real value and real impact. It’s all part of the bank’s mission: to be the best company its people have ever worked for — one that’s inclusive, transparent, and relentlessly forward-thinking.
