Set up Direct Debits for simple, stress-free payments
Direct Debits
A Direct Debit lets a business take payments automatically from your account once you’ve given permission. It’s commonly used for regular bills and subscriptions.
All payments are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee, which means you’ll get a refund if a payment is taken in error.
Setting up a Direct Debit
To set one up, share your account details (name, sort code, account number) with the business. They’ll arrange it with your bank.
You can view a list of Direct Debits on your account within the LHV App. Make sure there’s enough money in your account on payment days to avoid missed payments.
Cancelling a Direct Debit
You can cancel at any time through the LHV App. It’s best to also tell the business you’re cancelling the payment.
